Unhinged Daily Affirmations ("we," "us," or "the app") is operated by the app's developer. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. The short version: the app is built to keep your stuff on your phone.
TL;DR — your streaks and settings live on your device. We don't have a server collecting them.
Your streaks, settings, notification preferences, and the affirmations you've received are stored only on your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share this information. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it.
The free version of the app displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data in order to serve and measure ads. This processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can adjust ad personalization through your device's privacy settings. Users who purchase Unhinged+ do not see ads.
Optional Unhinged+ purchases are processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment details.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The optional Spicy Mode is age-gated to 18+ and off by default.
The app may record a small number of anonymous, aggregated usage events (for example, that an affirmation was revealed or shared) to help us understand which features are used. These events are not tied to your identity and contain no personal information.
You can turn notifications off at any time in the app or in your device settings. You can reset all local data by deleting and reinstalling the app. For ad-related choices, use your device's advertising and privacy controls.
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above and post the revised version at this URL.
